We are thrilled to welcome new instructor, Lisa Natoli!

Lisa will be teaching an Open Level Rope class:

RESEARCH & DESTROY (Open Level Rope)

This class is for students with some aerial experience wanting to learn how to use their vocabulary to build sequences and incorporate floor work. We will work on concepts of hanging, balancing, and momentum to gain more understanding of how technique and theory feed transitions and movement on and off the floor.

Lisa Natoli is a New York City based aerial performance artist known for her unconventional approach and artistic curiosity. Her work employs movement, aerial, cabaret, video and costuming as storytelling vehicles to challenge familiar narratives of art, beauty, age, injury and body politics. She trained at Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from The University of Iowa, attended classes and workshops at Movement Research in NYC, and received aerial training from Terry Beeman, Laura Witwer, and Kevin O’Connor, among others. Lisa currently teaches at Aerial Arts NYC, and Vital Climbing Gym in Brooklyn, has taught on-going classes at Frequent Flyers (Boulder), St. Louis Aerial Collective (St. Louis), Aloft (Chicago), and many workshops across the United States.
