Performance Program

Step into the spotlight with the Performance Program—an exhilarating opportunity for students to train like professional circus artists and experience the thrill of performing in a fully produced circus show. In this immersive program, students will work with top-tier coaches to hone their craft and develop a performance-ready act. The process emphasizes both technical excellence and personal artistry, giving each participant the tools to shine on stage.

What does the Performance Program consist of?

Training includes:

  • Technical Skill Development in your chosen discipline

  • Individual Artistic Expression to help shape your unique performance style

  • Discipline-Specific Conditioning & Prehabilitation to support safe, sustainable training

  • Choreography & Act Creation with expert guidance

  • Aesthetic-Based Movement Training to enhance stage presence

  • And more!

Whether you dream of soaring through the air, making an audience laugh, or mastering the poetry of movement, the Performance Program offers a unique and powerful space to grow, collaborate, and perform.

The program functions with the assumption that participants are training other days of the week as well. The program is for honing of skills and building of creative process, more than it is about learning new skills and being one’s training time.

Available Disciplines:

  • Flying Trapeze, Trampoline (NEW!), Juggling, Clowning, Static Trapeze, and Aerial Straps (NEW!)

New this year:
All performers will also participate in a mandatory group session that combines dance and mixed acrobatics. This essential cross-training supports all circus disciplines, builds ensemble cohesion, and serves as the creative ground for choreographing the show’s opening and closing acts.

Dance/Acro

In this new aspect to the program the entire program will come together one day a week to cross train. During this class students will focus on acrobatics and movement. Co-facilitated by Ryan Shinji Murray and Mary Schindler this section is meant to help build physical strength, bodily awareness, and confidence to move and explore within one's own discipline.
