What does it mean to be part of a crew? Navigate the treacherous waters of the high sea with our lonely Sailor, who encounters a pirate crew after being shipwrecked in a storm.
Circus Academy Presents: Avast!, a new pirate circus. Directed and produced by Megan Dewees, Sidonie Horn and Anna Speck, this production utilizes the flying trapeze rig as a stage for a variety of circus acts.
The location, Circus Academy New York, is the only indoor full-size flying trapeze in the New York area. Avast! is the first multi-week production to run in the space, and we hope to have many more!
