Workshop #1 – Roll Ups and C-Shaping Technique:Â
Whether you’re completely new to roll-ups, looking to progress to the next level, or curious how to integrate C-shaping into larger sequences, this workshop is for you! We’ll break down the technique and explore pathways in and out of C-shaping movements.
Workshop #2 – Dynamic Beats and Sequencing:Â
Learn to move through dynamic pathways with ease and precision! In this workshop, we’ll deconstruct beat progressions to build the most power with the least energy expenditure. Special attention will be given to maintaining a float-y movement quality and originality of sequencing.
A political organizer by day, Nick studied aerial rope at l’École de cirque de Québec and has performed and taught for over two decades across four continents. He most recently performed in Water for Elephants on Broadway.Â
As a rope artist, Farrah has performed regularly at venues across NYC including House of Yes, The Stranger, and The Slipper Room. She teaches in both private and workshop settings, specializing in roll-ups and c-shaping.Â
